Long ago in days far past
A child became a host of evil
Malevolent being from the bowls of hell
Came to lay its claim
The skies turned black the locust swarmed
To the village came despair
But hope still shone and would clear the way
His faith renewed the priest began to pray
A battle of faith between light and dark
Yet neither would back down
The boys soul was trapped between life and death
Caught within the demons bloody grasp
Speaking in tongues and sacrilege
The priest haunted by visions of his past
Resists the evil and screams the rites
Merrin makes his stand.
